A collaborative working group has received a financial boost from grant funding through the SRD to further COVID-19 response for vulnerable populations.
COVID Vulnerable Populations Working Group
The Health Network has been working with partners to coordinate the food insecurity response for vulnerable populations during the pandemic. The Health Network has leveraged funds and resources and advocated for vulnerable populations impacted by the pandemic. In partnership with Laichwiltach Family Services, the group has successfully applied to Emergency Management BC to support Coordinator wages for the vulnerable populations working group, awarded to the Campbell River and District Coalition to End Homelessness.
